Ellis Rogers has acquired a specialised knowledge of social dances of the 18th & 19th centuries; over the years he has taught, demonstrated and lectured on this subject around the world.
He is the author of 'The Quadrille' a practical guide to the origin, development & performance of this form of dance. He also translates early French dance manuals.
Ellis & his wife Christine hosted 'Quadrille Club' four times a year in London.
Ellis is based in north Kent but has travelled extensively to teach, lecture or act as MC. for 19th century balls.
